We’re excited to bring you this month’s Ones to Watch, featuring two emerging artists who should be on your radar if they’re not already: RaeLynn and Valerie June.

RaeLynn

RaeLynn

RaeLynn has, at 22, already made a name for herself in the country music world. She always knew she wanted to be a musician and pursued her dream, which landed her a spot on Season 2 of The Voice where she caught the attention of judges Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. RaeLynn reached the quarterfinals and later released the single “God Made Girls,” which earned her nominations from CMT, Radio Disney and the Academy of Country Music. This year RaeLynn reunited with her Voice coach as the opening act for Blake Shelton and this April embarks on the “RaVe Tour” her first as a headliner performing songs from her highly-anticipated debut album WildHorse, which will be available on Napster on March 24.

Valerie June

Valerie June

Valerie June isn’t a newcomer to the music scene. Growing up in Humboldt, Tenn., with a father who was a music promoter, from an early age June was introduced to a healthy dose of gospel and secular R&B. It was this foundation that has helped define June’s sound. A collaboration with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, resulted in her critically acclaimed 2013 album Pushin’ Against a Stone, which showcased her unique bluesy, soulful sound with a touch of Americana. June is also known for her distinct vocals and has been invited to share stages with the likes of Norah Jones, Jake Bugg, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings and Sturgill Simpson. She’s also built up a loyal following overseas. June has released the stunning single “Astral Plane” from her upcoming album The Order of Time, available March 10 on Napster.

Napster is thrilled to feature RaeLynn and Valerie June as our March Ones to Watch artists.
