Paste Magazine: Don’t Call It a Comeback — How Napster’s Making Waves in 2017

Hunter Hayes at Napster HQ

Paste Magazine stopped by Napster HQ last week for a walk-through of our Seattle office (complete with views of our Napster stage and Green Room where we’ve been honored to host live performances from Acceptance, Bailey Bryan and K.T. Tunstall) and share moments of musical nostalgia inspired by the OG iconic cat more than 15 years ago.

“There’s one key difference between the Napster that shook up the music industry in 1999 and the service today: Napster is now a paid-only subscription, helping support a more sustainable digital music economy… By educating the market about paid subscription models, focusing on diverse partnerships, and tapping into the power of the emotional connection we all have with music.”

You can check out the entire Paste Magazine article here, and for those of you who are new to Napster now is a great time check out a free, 30-day trial membership.
